Latvian Interior Ministry Camouflage Uniform Set-Jacket, 2 Pants, Hat
Latvian Interior Ministry Camouflage Uniform Set-Jacket, 2 Pants, Hat. This is a Latvian Interior Ministry Special Troops Camouflage uniform set. The uniform set dates back to the early 1990s right after Latvia gained their independence from the Soviet Union. This pattern was the first camouflage pattern the interior ministry special troops adopted after Latvia gained its independence from the Soviet Union in 1992. The jacket is a size large and has been issued to a soldier. There is a picture showing his name written on the pocket tab. The first pair of pants is about a 26 to 28 inch waste. The second pair of pants is about a 30-32 inch waste and has been issued to a soldier. His name can be seen written on one of the pocket tabs. This pair is very interesting because it is made out of a cloth material and has slightly greener colors than the jacket and pants. I have not seen another example of these pants on the Internet.
The hat is a size 57 cm, but can fit up to 59cm head size, fits loosely. The hat is in excellent mint condition.
The hat is also a very scarce piece. Overall this is a hard to find uniform and a great piece of history. The uniform set is in great condition.
